Microneedling

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is an effective, yet gentle exfoliation of the skin. The technique clarifies, smooths, and promotes an even complexion by removing dead skin cells and leaving a healthy glow. Microdermabrasion has been shown to target premature aging (fine lines, wrinkles, dehydration, and coarse texture), uneven skin tone (blotchy pigmentation, dull skin tone, age spots, dark spots, sun spots), and skin congestion (post-acne scarring, blackheads, and enlarged pores).
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliation treatment that uses a surgical scalpel to gently scrape away dead skin cells, revealing a flawless face and glowing complexion. Not only does the exfoliation promote a youthful, glowing complexion, it improves the overall texture of the skin, allowing makeup to smoothly glide only skin.

Does Microneedling hurt? +
We utilize a prescription numbing cream prior to treatment. This makes the microneedling experience quite comfortable.
Can Microneedling help acne? +
Though microneedling can improve the appearance of acne scarring, it cannot be performed on a client who is experiencing an active breakout as this can spread the bacteria, creating more acne.
What is the downtime for Microneedling? +
Typically, 24-48 hours is common for social downtime after a microneedling treatment. Many individuals will find their redness to resolve within a few hours post-treatment. Mineral makeup can be worn the following day if needed.
Does Microdermabrasion hurt? +
No. Microdermabrasion is quite a comfortable and relaxing experience. With a slightly abrasive tip, the dead skin cells are sloughed away from the skin.
Will Microdermabrasion remove the hair from my face? +
No. Microdermabrasion only removes dead skin cells and superficial dirt, and debris from the skin.
Can Microdermabrasion help acne? +
Though microdermabrasion can improve the appearance of acne scarring over time, this is not a treatment that can be performed on skin that has an active breakout.
Does Dermaplaning hurt? +
No. Though the use of a surgical scalpel may sound painful, dermaplaning is a relaxing facial treatment that gently scales away dead skin cells, dirt, and debris from the surface of the skin.
Will my hair grow back thicker or darker after a treatment? +
No. Though dermaplaning removes all peach fuzz (vellus hair) from the skin, this will not change the follicle type. There are two types of hair follicles – terminal (dark, coarse hair) and vellus (thin hair such as peach fuzz), this treatment cannot change a hair follicle type, hair follicles are changed by hormones.
