Microblading
Microblading is a form of permanent makeup, performed by adding pigment into the skin. Specifically, the pigment replicates tiny hair strokes for a fuller looking brow. Microblading provides an option of eyebrow shapes, from following the natural shape of your eyebrow to adding more volume or touching up the arch. Microblading is available for blonde and brown eyebrows. Microblading is recommended for a more natural brow look. Microblading is not suitable for clients with oily skin.
Powder Brows
Powder brows follow the same idea as microblading but are more subtle and soft, with an option for an ombré style. Powder brows are recommended for a more filled in soft makeup brow look as well as for someone with all skin types. Microblading and powder brows can be applied to both men and women. Powder brows are recommended for people living with alopecia, trichotillomania, or any other condition that causes hair loss.
Lash Extension
At Bold & Co. Medical Aesthetics, our estheticians are expertly trained in eyelash full set extensions and fills. Specifically, we focus on classic and Hybrid eyelash extensions, which add thickness, length and curl to your existing eyelashes. All eyelash extensions are customized in length and curl to suit your specific lash length, desired look and provide a healthy set of eyelash extensions that will not damage your natural lashes.
Lash Line Enhancement / Permanent Eyeliner
This treatment involves tattooing a light black line of pigment throughout the lash line, think of it as a light permanent eyeliner but with a natural finish. We do not tattoo hard/harsh lines and we do not tattoo above the lash-line. Our Lash Enhancement work heals super soft and natural looking leaving a beautifully deepened lash-line without any commitment.
Lip Blush Tattoo
Lip Blush is a permanent makeup procedure that enhances the symmetry, shape, and colour of natural lips. Lip Blush can give your lips more volume as it can stimulate natural collagen production which can create more visible fullness. The colour will lighten about 30% once it is healed. It can last 2-5 years, we recommend maintenance touch ups for best results!
We customize colour for our clients during the appointment based on goals, skin tone, etc. You can even bring in your favourite lipstick for us to match!

FAQs
Are there restrictions for permanent makeup procedures? +
Yes, the client must be over 18-years old, not pregnant or nursing, off oral retinol for 1 year and off topical retinol for 2 weeks. Other health restrictions such as Diabetes will need to be discussed prior to your appointment.
What should I do before my microblading or powder brow procedure? +
Before your procedure, do not pick, tweeze, wax, or tint your brows within 48 hours of the procedure. Do not tan or have any facials done 2 weeks prior. Avoid alcohol and ibuprofen for 48 hours prior to your appointment. Do not work out immediately before the procedure, have Botox 3-weeks prior, or take fish oil or Vitamin E.
How do I care for my microblading or powder brow procedure? +
It is critical to follow the aftercare instructions your specialist provides. To care for your permanent makeup, wipe the area every 2-hours with a paper towel or cotton swab for the first 48 (waking) hours, clean the area using a mild soap such as Dove or Cetaphil twice a day for 7 to 10 days, and apply aftercare balm after cleaning as advised.
How do I care for my lash extensions? +
Do not get your eyelash extensions wet for the first 12 hours. Afterward, do not apply oil or waterproof makeup. Be careful not to tug on the eyelashes and maintain appointments to fill them. Wash your lash extensions daily using a lash cleaner.
Can I wear eyeliner with my lash extensions? +
Yes! But look for an oil-free eyeliner as well as an oil free makeup remover.
How frequently should I get my lash extensions filled? +
It is recommended to have your lash extensions filled every 2 to 3 weeks.
Can lash extensions damage my eye? +
If you get your lash extensions done by a skilled professional like the team at Bold & Co. Medical Aesthetics, the risk for eye damage is relatively low.
Can I wear glasses with my lash extensions? +
Yes! If you wear glasses, please make sure you mention it to your lash artist as we will make sure we use the appropriate length, so they don’t rub on your lenses!
What is it like sleeping with lash extensions? +
It’s recommended to sleep on your back when you have eyelash extensions so as not to tug the eyelashes out. However, using a silk pillowcase will reduce the changes of tugging at the lash extensions while sleeping on your side.
